Location
About Biscarosse
Nestled at the heart of the largest forest in Europe, the residence is in privileged surroundings. Biscarrosse is renowned for its immense sandy beaches and its turquoise lakes which recall exotic lagoons- a prestigious seaside resort, preserved between dunes and pines. Biscarrosse is in fact divided into 3 poles, encompassing the town, the beach and the lake. Altogether there are 3 markets a week (more during the summer months), numerous shops, bars and restaurants making for a lively place. The town has much to offer culturally with a variety of exhibitions, concerts, shows, museums (including the hydroplane museum as Biscarrosse used to be the workshop and testing site) and more. Bordered by the Atlantic, the Landes department is a place of contemplation for all nature lovers. From the Gironde estuary to the Basque country, the Cote d’Argent extends its assets proudly along the seashore- between the forests and the highest dunes in Europe, life is all about a gentle joix de vivre.

Activities:
Set 200 metres from Biscarrosse-Plage, the ocean is a vast playground for a variety of water sports- swimming, surfing, sailing, diving, beach volley, sand yachting and parasailing. On the beautiful lakes one can practise water-skiing, sailing, canoe-kayaking... there’s something for everyone! For those who prefer to stay on dry land, the surrounding pine forests offer hiking, horse riding, golf, cycling, orienteering and archery..
